Good news, risky play is full of learning for both children and adults.
 
When babies are learning to walk, they are sure to fall down. When children are learning to ride a bike, they will also fall and get scrapes and bruises. We stay nearby to support if needed. We encourage. We don't say, "Stop, that's dangerous."
 
Children are more capable than we give them credit for. They would show us just how capable they are if we practiced collaboration instead of domination.
